Elio Motors unveiled a prototype of its two-passenger, three-wheeled vehicle Wednesday, confirming the all-new vehicle will have a $6,800 base price when it goes on sale in June 2014. Paul Elio, company founder and CEO, said the vehicle is targeted at first-time or cash-strapped buyers, as well as for families who already have a family car and are seeking something inexpensive for daily commuting. Its sub $7,000-base price makes it almost half the price of the cheapest car in the U.S.
Toyota has revealed specifications for the Auris Estate – the Toyota Auris Touring Sports – but has yet to come up with a price. At the time, apart from learning the Auris Touring Sports was longer than the Auris Hatch, we didn’t get much more from Toyota. Vauxhall Insignia VXR - now good for 170mph
We like the Vauxhall Insignia; it’s a very good car. We like it even more in better-than-warm Vauxhall Insignia VRX guise, where this warmed-over rep-mobile manages to pick up its skirts and scoot to 60mph in 5.6 seconds. Which is all rather appealing.
